What do Van Gogh and Mike Tyson have in common?

I waited until art.com had one of their sales, and then I finally splurged and bought that painting. It's a replica (duh) on museum-approved paper, 2 acid-free mattes, in a walnut frame. Starry Night reminds me of the music video for Smashing Pumpkins' "Tonight, Tonight", which is half the reason I like it so much. I hope it looks good. It's pretty huge, almost 3' wide. It came out to be $164 total.

Now I need some ideas for my room. I am thinking of buying a big frame like that one and filling it with all the ticket stubs I have saved over the years, but I don't know if that will look tacky or not. Hmm...

Nice purchase! It sounds like it'll look pretty good.

Purchasing a frame and filling it with ticket stubs...I'm not sure if that'd look tacky. But now i'm interested in any ideas you come up with regarding this.

I've saved most of my concert ticket stubs over the years as well.

yeah i have about 50 or so... i want to use them somehow. getting them to stick would be one problem, maybe rubber cement? if i put them under a matte or something that would give it a touch of class.

if i do anything i'll let you know.
